Restless

I have itchy fingers (and itchy feet, but that’s not relevant to this post) so I decided to fix something that wasn’t broken – my blog layout!

Thankfully, these things have gotten wonderfully easy (anyone remembers the days of Blogger and Diary-X where you could painstakingly write your own layouts in shitty html code?), and it only took me an hour-ish of fiddling around to get to this. I present to you my new theme / layout!

Ta-Dah!

In other news, I’ve been back in Singapore for about 3 weeks now, and plans to leave are uncertain as of now, which is adding to my restlessness. Although to be completely honest, being back this time hasn’t been that suffocating. I think maybe I’m finally learning to make my peace with how things are, when they are.

That’s not to say I’m not wanting to leave again, but it seems like I should be here for now, so it doesn’t feel too awful. And Australia can wait for a bit longer, I guess. I’d love to go, but it also doesn’t quite seem right at the moment.

In order to find the treasure, you will have to follow the omens. God has prepared a path for everyone to follow. You just have to read the omens that he left for you. – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

I don’t necessarily believe in God, but I do believe in the Universe – to me they are one and the same. And I trust that, as it has happened before, my path will become clearer as I walk along.

Well, enough rambling. I hope I shall find some inspiration to write more in the coming days.

Be like water.
P.S. Let me know if you like this new layout! Cheers.
